There is nothing I love more than taking pictures of my family. Be it at a get-together or just out and about spending time together. I think my nieces and nephews have just grown accustomed to constantly having something in their face when I'm with them. They don't seem to mind. When they do, I'll hide the camera better!
Last weekend my grandmother and mother rented a small building the town I grew up in to host our family Christmas. It's easier than everyone piling into cars to sit in cramped houses. It's the same location we had our family Thanksgiving. Everyone can spread out, the kids have room to play, there's a kitchen. It's pretty nice. I didn't even know it was there (which tells me I might need to go home once in a while).
Anyway, since I posted my video yesterday I thought I'd include a few pictures of my family into today's blog post! Because what's the point of taking pictures if you're not going to share them?
Those are just my favorites. I am in no way a professional. And I need to work on my focus, but it doesn't stop me from loving the pictures I take anway.
My niece, Olivia, was very interested in holding my nephew, Waylon. He was quite upset at the time however and just wanted to hang on his mommy.
And then he passed out on her. The kid is obsessed with his mom, not that I'm surprised. I think it's adorable.
My grandma, my nephew Keegan, and my sister (Keegans mother). They were sitting around waiting for the White Elephant Gift Exchange to start.
See? Very excited about this baby.
This kid. This is my nephew Keegan again. He is my little monkey (a nickname given to him at birth). I love this kid to death! He's growing up entirely too fast for me, just like Owen.
So those are the pictures I took at our Christmas get-together! What do your Christmases look like?
